startx not found

Hi,
Just installed xorg and plasma but when i run startx, i get a command not found error. Any help would be appreciated.

You have to modify "~/.xinitrc" file with the command to launch KDE using the "startx" command. You can also just use a display manager (SDDM is the standard one recommended for KDE Plasma).

xinitrc doesn't even exist, so i don't think startx even exists for some reason.

turns out xorg-xinit wasn't installed even though im certain i installed it
