Screen blinking after fresh installation

Hi, this is a fresh installation I have just finished. The computer had before (and now dual boots with) Windows 10. And there it works fine so it is not a hardware problem.

The laptop is a Dell latitude 5490. The CPU is i5-8350U, integrated graphic card Intel 620. As said I just did a fresh install, following the guide. I installed gnome. Everything works fine, audio, network, firefox,... but the computer randomly blinks (screen goes black for a split of a second). I did install the drivers xf86-video-intel, but I removed them and the blinking persists.

What worked was adding intel_idle.max_cstate=4 as a kernel parameter. See the following link https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Laptop/Dell
