Mythtv, Nvidia and XvMC help

Hi all, trying to use Mythtv with XvMC but when I start up the frontend I get:
2006-10-20 08:33:36.061 VideoOutputXv Error: XvMC output requested, but is not supported by display.
Xlib:  extension "XVideo-MotionCompensation" missing on display ":0.0".
Xlib:  extension "XVideo-MotionCompensation" missing on display ":0.0".
Xlib:  extension "XVideo-MotionCompensation" missing on display ":0.0".

My nvidia section of xorg.conf looks like this:
Section "Device"
        Identifier      "Nvidia"
        Driver          "nvidia"
        BusID           "PCI:1:0:0"
        VideoRam        128000
        Option          "NVAGP" "1"
        Option          "RenderAccel" "1"
        Option          "RandRRotation" "1"

EndSection

Am I missing something to turn on motion compensation?

Thanks
Cub

Re: Mythtv, Nvidia and XvMC help

I'll take a shot in the dark here and suggest that your card does not support XvMC acceleration. I'm basing my answer on a similar problem that was asked on the Mythtv mailing list here -->  http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/m … ers/232119
