[SOLVED] Firefox has Waiting for <page>... page doesn't load

I really don't know where else to ask so I'll try Arch Linux forum too.

I'm having problems with some pages not loading in Firefox. One of those is neovim.io. Thing is when I open neovim.io directly through address bar page opens instantly.

But when search for neovim and click on the link in search engine (tried Duck and Google) page doesn't open at all.

There are lots of pages that don't properly load. All of them are showing Waiting for.... notification on the bottom. One most notable (and now my test case is) merkur.si. That doesn't open either with or without search engine like neovim.

Firefox versions I have tried are: Firefox 97, 98, beta that is now 99, ESR.

If I try on different browser Chromium, Tor Browser, Librewolf (v98) and Brave there are no such problems with loading pages. Same with Firefox on Win10 virtualmachine.

I have tried every option in Network settings and there are no changes on loading time. Only thing that "works" is pressing Ctrl + F5 while page loads. and 95% of the time page reloads and loads "instantly". This tests were done on new profile. I suspect that there is a setting in default (arch based?) setting that breaks Firefox on my system.

Any help would be amazing. Thanks in advance for the answers.

The way you are phrasing most things in your post sound like you aren't using Arch Linux? Ask on the boards of what you are using. FWIW what I can tell you as this wouldn't be a general default and I have no issues accessing the stated sites. So this will be something in your own configuration. Whether that's something you did on your own (or a general issue on your network, can you access these sites from other systems i.e. phone or so?) or whatever defaults the distribution you are using has set I can't say.

This certainly isn't common behavior, and I highly doubt it's anything coming from Arch's configuration for Firefox.

Do you have any extensions/addons for Firefox?

Does it do it if you open a private window (Ctrl+Shift+P)?

Does it do it if you use a different profile? (Start "firefox" with "firefox -P" to load the profile manager and make a new profile.)

Yeah, I'm using Arch. I wouldn't ask here otherwise.

I have tried with clean install (removing .mozilla), deleting profiles, opening in private windows and removing all extensions. If you install firefox-beta or esr they all start with new profiles by default in Arch.

I can absolutely believe I made some error with installation but this did happen when upgrade to FF 97 happen on same system I'm now on. I asked here cause this might be the place someone using Arch and having problem with FF might be and has a solution for this weird problem.

I solved this one with network.dns.disableIPv6 from false to true in Firefox.

Not sure where the problem is my Arch setup or my ISP. But for now everything works as in other browsers.
