[SOLVED] Wifi networks not showing in KDE.

Hey,

I just installed Arch on my laptop and couldn't connect to WiFi.

I installed it using Ethernet, but need WiFi too.

Regards

And what have you done to set up your wifi? What have you installed and started/enabled?

Re: [SOLVED] Wifi networks not showing in KDE.

This is likely a follow up from your previous thread. If you want KDE integration you need to use NetworkManager instead of dhcpcd. If you don't care about the GUI integration and want to use dhcpcd you can follow: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Dhcpcd … supplicant which would mandate you properly set up a wpa_supplicant config. But this will explicitly not show a direct representation in the normal KDE GUI used for this purpose, that is hard tied to NetworkManager
