Opening .mpd file warning from gnome!

When trying to open a .mpd file (mpd programming text file) I get a warning message saying that

"this file ending indicates that this file is a .mpd file but context of the file shows that its a regular text file. Opening this file could mean a security risc for your computer ... bla bla bla.."

How can i bypass this really annoying thing, without having to right click, open with, all the time to open the damned file..
