Alienware M15 R6 locked at 60hz

Just bought this device. It's been 6 months since launch and we lack such basic support.

Is this on Dell's will to support it or it may come on a eventual kernel update? Can I be of help?

Solved by disabling switchable graphics in the BIOS settings
