Hi!
I am experiencing what seems to be power management issue.
If I unplug the power cable, the HDD falls into endless cycle of spinning up and down (I can hear the sound of it)
dmesg confirms, spamming repeatedly
[ 1599.721077] sd 0:0:0:0: [sda] Starting disk
[ 1605.007258] sd 0:0:0:0: [sda] Synchronizing SCSI cache
[ 1605.007698] sd 0:0:0:0: [sda] Stopping disk
Rebooting or shutting down freezes the machine.
also from dmesg, dunno if it is related:
[ 1474.408168] INFO: task laptop_mode:19007 blocked for more than 614 seconds.

Many thanks.

Hello.
Thank you for the link to BBs help page. I was looking for formatting guide, but didn't find.
I have edited the post as suggested.
Installing hdparm seems to have improved the behavior, testing.
Thank you, ewaller
