I installed arch a few years ago (2 or 3). I was pregnant and I got a baby so I haven't log in arch for quite a long time until now. I am quite rusty to be honest and forgot about what I did before. I succeeded to do a full update with Pacman. No more errors and everything looks good on that side. Currently I have a problem with my login page. I use xfce4. I don't think it had ever worked well. I enter my password, seems to work and log me out. As a workaround, I open a terminal, log in and startx.
Here is my entry from journalctl and my xorg.log. Maybe I missed something, but I don't see any errors.

I think that the main error message is
Mar 19 16:21:08 archGE62 lxdm-session[18471]: pam_systemd_home(lxdm:auth): systemd-homed is not available: Unit dbus-org.freedesktop.home1.service not found.
Try to focus on it. In several discussions concerning similar problem the reinstallation of the problem packages is recommended.

systemd-homed is still optional AFAIK; that message shouldn't be considered an error unless you're actually trying to use systemd-homed.
I can't find any real clues in the journalctl output, but it does seem incomplete: lines are cut off at the end, but more importantly, there should be more before/after the ones you posted. Don't use a pager if it makes it hard to copy messages, or maybe upload the the full `journalctl -b`: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/List_o … n_services
Also check/post the X log after a failed login attempt -- usually /var/log/Xorg.0.log or you may have an older one available from a previous attempt.

I am not using system-homed, Here is my output of systemctl status systemd-homed
○ systemd-homed.service - Home Area Manager
Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/systemd-homed.service; disabled; vendor preset: enabled)
Active: inactive (dead)
Docs: man:systemd-homed.service(8)
man:org.freedesktop.home1(5)I edited my initial post with all the complete lines of my journalctl and my Xorg.log. There aren't any other lines in my journalctl after a failed attempt. These are the only lines created following a failed attempt to log in.
Thanks

That's not your xorg log, but some lines from it.
Post the full log and the complete system journal - not some filter. If you knew what to filter for, you'd not be here.
