Mono speaker issue with intel atom and everest es8316 audio codec

My device is a laptop with intel atom soc and everest es8136 audio codec.

Audio music playback from builtin speaker is Mono, no stereo. Headphone jack is stereo OK.

I checked 'pavucontrol' tool. The 'output device' just have 'mono speaker' and 'headphones'. And the 'configuration' built-in audio profile just have 'play hifi quality music'.

In windows, the builtin speaker is stereo.

How to debug this issue? what log should I submit to debug this? Please help me.

Is this a driver issue or just a configuration issue?
