Kernel panic [Solved]

Does anyone know what is the problem here or can at least point me in the right direction?
https://k00.fr/iddbwnvo

I have been using my current installation for 4+ years and had no real problems so far. But as of today arch completely freezes before login.
And if I try booting from arch usb, I get the kernel panic (in the picture above). Which would explain why my installed arch fails.

So my reaction was to think that this is caused by hardware problem, maybe some component is failing.
But I can login into and use windows normally so I am also unsure if this is a problem.

Can anyone please help me please?

Re: Kernel panic [Solved]

Crashes in your wifi chip module, see https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=273641 - but that's a different chip.
Does the LTS kernel still work?
And since it's a a USB (dongle?) retracting that should™ probably allow you to boot (at least not run into that error)

I can login into and use windows normally

3rds link below is super-relevant since the wifi chip is one of the prominent victims of this condition.

Re: Kernel panic [Solved]

I've gotten an answer on a different site.
But the culprit was the Xbox one controller receiver.

All I had to do was unplug it and the problem was solved smile

But anyway thanks, for your answer anyway wink

Best regards, AK
