On several occasions over the past few weeks, I have had plasmashell begin to rapidly consume all available memory until system lock-up. (32GB w/ no swap enabled). This seems to immediately follow file manipulation between my phone using Dolphin and kdeconnect. For instance, copying photos from my phone to local storage on the computer.
After some experimentation, I have determined that killing the kdeconnect process will halt the continued consumption of available memory, but will not release that which has already been consumed.
Has anyone experienced this or care to try and replicate this behavior?
