Java 64 bit plug-in

The Blackdown Java project has a funtioning 64 bit plug-in for their JRE. The JRE is still at 1.4.2, but the plug-in works. The '03' release is the most current. The mirror list is here:

Don't use ftp.tux.org, it's painfully slow.

Re: Java 64 bit plug-in

Blackdown Java is a community package. It's in AUR.

You can do whatever you want with it. It won't go into official repos.

Hey. Three things I want to add to this discussion:

1) Java works perfectly in Konqueror
2) The Blackdown JRE is seriously buggy
3) Sun caved and are trying to get the 64 bit Linux plug-in out with 1.6 (Mozilla only)
