Monitor wakes up shortly after going into standby

Hello,

I've got 2 laptops (let's call them chubby and skinny) running Arch Linux connected to an external monitor. They have different behavior regarding turning the external monitor off:

- on skinny, when it turns the monitor off due to standby, the monitor will go black for about 3 seconds, and then will go back to power on

- on chubby, if it turns the monitor off, it will remain off as expected.

Notice only 1 laptop is on at a time.

I turn the monitor off using the command "xset dpms force MODE", MODE being "off", "standby" or "suspend". The result is the same.

Is there a way to debug what is turning the monitor back on on skinny?

Skinny is a Slimbook KDE

Chubby is a Dell Precision 5760

The external monitor is a Mi Curved Gaming Monitor 34"
