I have an SSD, and I want the entire drive to be encrypted, and use an openZFS filesystem, but have the boot/EFI partition be on a USB, so when I remove the drive, there's no way of booting the system, how can I achieve this if at all possible, any advice, links would be appreciated, note I'm not referring to a USB Keyfile.

The following are examples of a similar setup in the wiki:
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Dm-cry … n_dm-crypt
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Dm-cry … VM_on_LUKS
That's dm-crypt with a filesystem of choice on top; I don't know if openZFS native encryption support is at the point where it's also (easily) usable in this scenario.
