Microphone using 3.5mm Jack not working (pipewire)

Hi everyone.
I use bose 700 headphones on Asus G14 Laptop (using Pipewire/ALSA in Arch Linux). Everything works fine when I use Bluetooth. both mic and headphone work. but when I connect the headphone using a 3.5mm jack only sound output is detected and the mic is not working. I checked it from the Input devices of the pavucontrol.

Re: Microphone using 3.5mm Jack not working (pipewire)

Do you have another device to connect to the input? I had a similar problem few years ago and I discovered that the problem was hardware (some kind of obstruction in the jack hole that avoids me to fully plug headphones).

The easiest thing to do is to try with other headphones to exclude an hardware connector problem.

Let me know
