A few days ago I blacklisted pcspkr in /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf, lost all audio, and since removed it and made multiple attempts to get audio back and working.

I followed all of the instructions listed in the below forum:
https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … 4#p1888464
- I tried to downgrade the version of alsa-ucm-conf to 1.2.5-2 because I had read somewhere that there was a bug with version 1.2.6* on thinkpad t14 AMD (my device).
- I tried unmuting devices in alsamixer
- I tried changing the default audio device in ~/.asoundrc
- Tried reinstalling sof-firmware
If I need to provide more system logs/outputs or any information, don't hesitate to ask.
Thanks for the help

I highly doubt that has a relation. Any other modprobe files that try to manipulate audio module states? Post all of them, also post all your .asoundrc and /etc/asound.conf if present Output of
sudo dmesg | grep -iE 'snd|sof'
sudo fuser -v /dev/snd/*generally you shouldn't follow the dmic_detect suggestion anymore assuming you have a device that's properly supported via sof-firmware and if you still have a file to that effect will lead to sof-firmware not being considered at all.

For some reason, after being away from my laptop for a day, my results when I do `aplay -l` are different from when I posted it yesterday. See below:
