I have a tablet I tried Gnome/KDE with X/Wayland, Openbox and Sway.
It is not a nice experience.
AFAIK GUI for touch are JingOS DE, phosh and KDE mobile.
Can I get to run JingOS DE? Or one of the other at least.
Can I have a virtual keyboard when unlocking luks and when using the bootloader?
I am using grub now.

If you unlock luks after booting the kernel, then you can probably set up osk-sdl or maybe there is some way with plymouth.
I have no idea what the required components for the JingOS DE would be. If you know those you can probably package them for arch linux.

It seems that no part of JingOS sources was ever released, for x86_64.

postmarketOS DEs should work fine for touch, can somebody port them to Arch?
I can try plasma-mobile https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/plasma-mobile.

I can see plasma mobile on SDDM but I can't log in.
maliit-keyboard doesn't have arrow keys etc., mouse keys and it can't be invoked/revoked.
Not showing on firefox for example.
I can't use squeekboard from AUR:
squeekboard
** (squeekboard:1706): ERROR **: 09:34:46.236: No virtual keyboard manager Wayland global available.
Trace/breakpoint trap (core dumped)Gnome keyboard appears only for GTK apps and sometimes doesn't work.
No arrow keys etc., mouse keys and it can't be invoked/revoked.
What is a keyboard like onboard but for wayland?
On X some problem with qt apps but thanks to touchegg I can close the right click menu.
And the pointer is shown, not a big deal.
onboard mouse clicks don't work well on Openbox and KDE.
How do I make osk-sdl appear when unlocking luks?
First grub loads the kernel and then unlock right?
