Where to install games when booting from a USB device?
My Arch installation is running off of a 128GB flash drive, which is fine for most applications, and packages, but the 'Small' size becomes an issue when you take into account the fact that lots of new games take 60+GB of space required. Is there any way to install them straight onto my hard drive? (I know this solution will mean I cannot play my games if my flash drive is not connected to a system with access to my hard drive, but being able to play at only my home PC is better than not being able to play at all.)

What do you mean by "install them"? I gather these are not packages in the repos, but rather data that is just downloaded, right? If so, then sure, you can store that anywhere. You can also mount the hard-drive wherever you'd like in the usb system.
