Zoom Blur Stops Video

Since a zoom about a few months ago, the blur background feature doesn't work anymore. Whenever I enable the blur, my video just freezes unblurred. If I unblurr the video my video continues. Anyone has a similar issue?

I have the exact same problem
Removing ~/.config/zoom.conf fixed the issue for me for a couple of days and now it is happening again.
I'm also on Wayland, not sure if it is related.

I'm on X (in case it matters). I've noticed that when I start Zoom myself and then e.g. click on a Zoom link in the browser to join a meeting the blurring works with no issues. However, when I click on a link without starting Zoom first letting it spawn on its own i.e. running it like `zoom zoommtg://zoom.us/blah` instead I get my video frozen.
