That's a completely different error caused by not having the [multilib] repo enabled.
I understand, but even after i excluded it, i still got the invalid pgp signature error from before. In any case, it doesn't matter now, as i'm getting the pgp signature error when executing pacstrap during a fresh install.

Wild guess - is your system time drastically off?
Also, for a "fresh install" did you recreate the filesystems?

And if that's not it, please post the actual smartctl data.

Time being off should be "Unknown trust", not "invalid", shouldn't it?

That seems likely - and I'd take your word for it. I'm only vaguely aware that a time issue can trigger some signature-checking related error, hence the 'wild' part of the guess. But if it's not a clock issue, and it was a fresh filesystem, then I'm not sure what's left (aside from the ever-present possibility that we're receiving inaccurate diagnostic info).

He might now be running into https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=275924 but that doesn't fit "different packages are invalid or corrupt with each execution" in which case this would most likely be an IO issue - ie. his network or disk or filesystem being unreliable.
Ftr: system time is the first listed cause in https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Pacman … ure_errors and I guess the error message could depend in which keys are affected by KEYEXPIRED

Please don't embed huge images directly, if you get a working internet connection you can also share the text which is always a better option: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/List_o … n_services

The disk looks ok indeed.
Please post the actual, literal error you're facing right now (the exact signature matters, you might be running into https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=275924 )

Here you go. It's going to be a different set if I run pacstrap again (sometimes fewer, sometimes more), but the linux and linux-firmware packages are always on that.

Nope.
Package and read errors are likely from the install medium (?) - some usb key? Do you have a different one? Are there IO errors in dmesg?
Online
None that i can see, but I'm not that conversant with dmesg, so I can't say for certain

So, it turns out the issue was dust piling up on one of my RAM slots and up against some of the circuits. literally. A whole week without a computer, just because the fancy casing on my DIMMs conspired against my efforts to clean my PC regularly.
