My printer has been working fine for a few months, and now for some reason it has stopped working.
I checked my pacman log file and nothing related to printing has changed, any idea what's going on???
I used system-config-printer, to check if something I setup was wrong, but even it can't fix it. Once it gives up trying to send the print job to the printer, it just says "Idle: print job cancelled at printer"
the cups logs look normal, the printer is just refusing, I even turned firewalld off with no luck
I swapped out my color ink cartridge with no luck either (since it was low)
my avahi configuration seems fine as well, there's no problems there, it is able to resolve those printer local addresses too, I'm just so confused
I have also re added my printer several times with no luck, and communication with the printer seems ok (Scanning works just fine!), I even restarted the printer and my computer
the printer works from everything else in my house too
I think it stopped working around May 1 or 2
I am using a canon mx 492
