Atom launch keyboard shortcut overrides gnome keyboard shortcut

So, I'm running gnome 42.1, and configured Super+E to launch nautilus, but after installing atom, the shortcut key launches atom instead. How do I change this behaviour?

My guess would be that Atom stole it when it was installed.  If so, that is bad behavior.  What happens if you go back into system settings and change your keyboard shortcut for Super+E back to Nautilus?

If i clear the shortcut from the launchers section in gnome-control-center then nothing happens when I press the key combination, its only when I set it launch the home folder (not nautilus as my first post, sorry) does it launch atom when I press the combination.

Atom has "inode/directory" in its MimeType entry.

xdg-mime query default inode/directory

Gnome should™ have a GUI to configure the order and I'm not 100% sure whether it uses xdg, otherwise you could try eg.

xdg-mime default nautilus.desktop inode/directory
