URGENT: Closing Archlinux.us EMAIL addresses !!!
This is an email I've sent out to those users I could determine had logged into ArchLinux.us email accounts (the gmail accounts).
======
All,
I am sending this email directly to those users that have logged into the service in 2022.
Due to Google's new policy, and wanting to charge me for email addresses, I am going to have to close the archlinux.us emails. I will be closing them on the 8th OF THIS MONTH !!! 3 DAYS!! And that is assuming google doesn't close them for me sooner.
I apologize, I did not see this sooner, I have been dealing with REAL LIFE alot over the last year or so as I am sure many of you have been as well. This is very unfortunate, and I'm sorry this has happened. It is, however, out of my control.
Please download all the messages you want to keep, as I will have NO WAY of restoring them or recovering them for you.
I had planned on continuing this for a lot longer time frame, and have been keeping the domain active for many years now.
Please accept my apologies for the delayed/short notification.
Thank you,
Crouse

Mods, please feel free to move this to a more appropriate location if this is not the correct forum.
To the community, again, apologies for the short time frame, and the delay in getting this. I was not aware of this issue until today.

Thanks for all the years of this, crouse. FYI, I switched to protonmail and it's pretty good. Direct import option from gmail worked easily.

Un-sticking this topic as the deadline has passed.

It's been so long, really has served so many of us for so long, thank you and sad to see it go.
Btw, there's some reports of being able to continue for free individually?
