Gnome 42 update constantly freezes the system

System:
OS: Arch Linux x86_64
Kernel: 5.17.5-arch1-1
CPU: Intel i3-8130U (4) @ 2.200GHz
GPU: Intel UHD Graphics 620

I recently updated my system to gnome 42 and its been 2-3 days gnome is randomly freezing. It is a very annoying issue, happening constantly every so often, multiple times during a session. And I would really appreciate any help I can get.

I have attached the log below

Re: Gnome 42 update constantly freezes the system

Welcome to the Forums.

I use Gnome 42, Intel graphics and have no issues.  That log is not interesting.

Are you logging in through gdm?
Are you in a Wayland session or an Xorg session?

Define "Freeze".  You assert "multiple times during a session", so I assume this is not a kernel panic (as it recovers).  How long does it "freeze"?  Does the cursor move during a freeze?  Does the clock update during a freeze?
During a freeze, can you change to a different console (Ctrl-Alt-F3, for example)?

Any particular program you are using?  Any particular mode, like overview?

Re: Gnome 42 update constantly freezes the system

Apologies as I was not clear with my question.

I am logging in through gdm on an Xorg session.
It freezes for some minutes while I am watching videos or reading something but it freezes for a long time while I am using vscode for my work at this case I hard reboot
The clock doesn't update, I can't see the cursor and I can't change the console as well.

Your log is incomplete and truncated and only a single pager page. Use appropriate commands rather than manually copy and pasting out of a terminal

Do you have xf86-video-intel installed? Does removing it fix the issues in case?
