My post is about making really loud volume quieter and really quiet volume louder (e.g in podcasts).
I used to have pulseaudio with the plugin: swh-plugins. The default settings for the compressor worked perfectly.
Now I upgraded my linux and have pipewire and easyeffects. Using the default values for the compressor in easyeffects
doesn't produce good results. I looked for other presets, found one, and it also produces bad results:

Does anyone have a link to presets which do a good job, like the old pulseaudio plugin?
Thanks

If you used module-ladspa-sink to load swh plugins, then it is available in pipewire too.

The ladspa-sink module is implemented on top of filter-chains, you could use those as well if you need more options than the module provides: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/pipewire … lter-Chain

Thanks guys.
I did go back to the LADSPA plugin (with pipewire).
*I installed the: ladspa-swh-plugins
*edited the .config/pipewire/pipewire-pulse.conf
