Ardour is not working with prime -run?

hello

i am using prime run command to run programmes that require most power like Blender ,Kdenlive .Ardour is not able run with prime run.i use nvtop to monitor programmes using graphics card.but as i run ardour i am not able to get anything in nvtop.Running from terminal  i get following when i close programme.

/usr/bin/prime-run: line 2: 1553 Killed __NV_PRIME_RENDER_OFFLOAD=1 __VK_LAYER_NV_optimus=NVIDIA_only __GLX_VENDOR_LIBRARY_NAME=nvidia "$@"
[musicarch@musicArch ~]$ watched PID no longer exists - releasing device.

this is only reference i get that relate to ardour being using prime -run.process id is also not in nvtop screen indicating ardour

glxinfo details

[musicarch@musicArch ~]$ prime-run glxinfo | grep "OpenGL renderer"
OpenGL renderer string: Quadro K1000M/PCIe/SSE2

How should i go forword?

Re: Ardour is not working with prime -run?

You will only see something there if the application in question actively uses OpenGL or similar, I'm suspecting Ardour doesn't for a large majority of its usecases.

yes , this might be true. but i wanted to use this for effective processing of sounds that i generate, as sometimes ardour crashes or i will see more x-runs. can you suggest anything that might help me.

How would prime help with sound processing? What made you try to use it in the first place?
