Unexplained random freeze

Hi,

I've installed archlinux on my Lenovo X1 Extreme 2nd generation. I'm using i3, polybar and xorg. I already use this config on my old thinkpad and everything work fine. So I suppose that the problem come from my archlinux configuration more than the way I configured these tools.

I'm experiencing a weird behaviour. Randomly, some of my i3 workspace begin to freeze. Which mean a previous workspace is displayed, I can't use my kill shortcut to close the window. While these desktop are frozen, I can still see that polybar is working and told me I'm am on the right workspace.

I notice that it happen with Chromium, Slack, Signal, Keeweb, Alacritty but never with Emacs for example. I tried many things (configure HiDPI properly, remove some tools to find which one was buggy) but I don't know where to find any log that will show me what the problem is.

The only log I've found is in /var/log/Xorg.0.log :

(EE) client bug: timer event4 debounce short: scheduled expiry is in the past (-21ms), your system is too slow

Do you have any idea ?

Thanks a lot
