[SOLVED] AMD 6650XT Shader Clock Stuck at 500 MHz

Today I got a Sapphire 6650XT Nitro+, right away I noticed performance issues which quickly led to me discovering that the shader clock is stuck at 500 MHz, I assume this is the minimum since it doesn't move at all.
The memory clock varies from 96 MHz to 1094 MHz, not sure what it should be it only specifies 17.5Gbps, I'm using a PCI-E 4.0 mobo, the shader clock should be up to 2523 MHz or 2694 boost.
I installed Mesa experimental but that made zero change, tried to play around with CoreCtrl but as expected the clock is really stuck.
I have no idea where to go from here so advice would be very much appreciated, it works fine on Windows so I guess I'm going to have to go suffer with that until I can find a fix because this is unusable.

I tried:
cat /sys/class/drm/card0/device/pp_dpm_sclk
0: 500Mhz *
1: 500Mhz *
So something is clearly wrong.

Edit
Just checked and windows reports the maximum memory clock as 2190 MHz, interestingly 1094 MHz is almost exactly half this.
glxinfo
dmesg

Problem solved, leaving this here for anyone else having the issue, install linux-firmware-git from the AUR, this should be fixed in the next linux-firmware update.
