System hangs on reboot

Having some trouble with a misbehaving process on my arch system. Wondering if any one on the forum has a fix or solution for the problem? Hers are my journalctl logs.

I think the problem here could be at-spi-dbus.service the system logs says its timing out.

Re: System hangs on reboot

I had this problem with xfce. There was a thread last month that seemed helpful: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=2032321 , but I ended up using a hack to kill the process when starting a new desktop session.

Added this script to XFCE Settings->Sessions and Startup->Application Autostart

#!/usr/bin/sh

sleep 5

PID=$(pgrep -f at-spi-bus-launcher)

if [ $PID ]; then
        kill -s KILL $PID
fi
