BIOS Update in wine

Hi,

Has anyone tested a BIOS update utility using wine, and is it even possible? I know that it is dangerous to run a BIOS update through wine, but I'm just curious as to whether it is even possible or not.

It is a laptop motherboard, so I'm not sure. I probably won't try it, though.

Which laptop model then? Most modern UEFIs  should allow you to dump and load an update from your ESP partition without an operating system involved.
