I was using balena etcher in i3. I tried to flash a pendrive and got this error (https://0x0.st/oal_.png) -

I was having the same issue when I was using Stacer . In normal desktop environments we have polkit agents pre installed so I didn't have any problem I also tried to install xfce4-polkit and added it to my - "" ~/.config/i3/config

Hey Rounak, make sure you have installed the "polkit' and "xfce-polkit" packages from standard repos and AUR resp. Try replacing "exec xfce-polkit" with "exec --no-startup-id /usr/lib/xfce-polkit/xfce-polkit". Also see polkit - ArchWiki.
