Problem with install cd (i.e. problems with acpi) [solved]

1. I insert the boot cd (tried the base and the full images so far)
2. At the prompt I hit enter
After this the image is loaded but it stops  after some ACPI messages

ACPI: AC Adapter (on-line)
ACPI: Battery Slot (battery present)
...
ACPI: Fan [FAN0] (off)

Here the system hangs and I can't do anything about it.

I have a Samsung X11 with core2duo T5500.

Has anybody an idea?

I'd suggest booting with the line

arch acpi=off

although I'm not sure it'll help since the ACPI seems to be working. Just a suggestion.

So instead of hitting enter, enter the above line and then press enter.

Enter enter enter end her bender.

Thanks, with "acpi=off" the setup is working.

After upgrading all packages acpi is working.
