Re: I need a new mouse

Impressive features ... but nothing indicates that the software that runs them will work in Linux.

Re: I need a new mouse

From what I remember, the bulk of Logitech stuff works fine.

I have a Microsoft (booo) Intellimouse Explorer 4, it works pretty well, with the exception of the tilt wheel.  I also have a Creative Wireless 5000, it works pretty well.

Re: I need a new mouse

5 - 7 buttons sorry!

Wireless (when it works!) is a little easier to use

Never got side buttons working on my old one ;-(

Re: I need a new mouse

Never had any problem with a Logitech mouse on Linux, so for me go for the Logitech one.

Re: I need a new mouse

you shouldnt have any problems with any mice, they're pretty much standard.

i use only MS mice and keyboards personally. currently use a intellimouse 1.1, and a wireless intellimouse explorer 2.0.

Re: I need a new mouse

Those new Logitech Revolution mice are great.

Speaking of Logitech mice, does anyone have one with volume controls that you've gotten to work in Linux? I have a mx610 that has the volume controls working great when booting off an Ubuntu liveCD, but I can't figure out how ot get the same functionality in Arch.
