I've not had any success streaming certain events on fubotv as well as the peacocktv platform in particular.
I've tried experimenting with settings in various browsers such as brave & firefox.
I've also tried using the wine internet explorer.
Finally i've tried running firefox as an executable with the wine launchers - nothing is happening..gosh!
Is there a simple way to stream these services without having to use a box on an open server that may be hostile, as noone can be trusted.
advise pls, ty!

Looks like those two are among the streaming platforms with the worst linux support you can find.
The simplest way seeems to be to create a windows VM and use that to view their shows.

I'm also interested in getting Peacock to work.
I have tried both Chromium and Firefox to no avail. I've ensured that Widevine DRM is working on Firefox (e.g. by checking at https://shaka-player-demo.appspot.com/support.html according to the instructions at https://github.com/shaka-project/shaka- … ssues/6303 ).
Of course, I've also tried other simpler tactics like changing the user agent but it didn't work either.
I've also ensured that all the x264, x265 codecs and the gstreamer good, bad, and ugly etc are all installed.
Peacock is the official place to stream the Olympics which just started so I would like to resolve this asap.

Please open a new thread as the OP hasn't been back since this was started.
