Error: Invalid magic number after choosing the kernela from the grub

Hello guys! I'm having following error since last monday.

Loading Linux linux-zen ...
error: invalid magic number.
Loading initial ramdisk ..
error: you need to load the kernel first.

And I tried to chroot into the root and install the the kernel again. But then I got the following error.

PS: I use lvm and I recently resized Logical Volumes. Have it deleted some files there?
