xset m 0 0 doesn't work [SOLVED]

Trying to turn mouse acceleration off with xorg.
Tried xset m 0 0, xset mouse 0 0, which both appear to work, as xset q outputs:

Pointer Control:
  acceleration:  0/1    threshold:  0

However even after restarting xorg, there is still mouse acceleration as before.

Thank you, this little bit of text is a bit harder to find than it should be
"Mouse acceleration has changed dramatically in recent X server versions; using xset to disable acceleration does not work as it used to and is not recommended anymore. Recent changes on PointerAcceleration can be read here"
