Today I had to shut down my rog zephyrus laptop due to hardware related issues. Prior to shutting down I reinstalled every package. After loading into the boot menu i was greeted with linus-vm Linux not support even though its installed to my machine.

I used the command: sudo pacman -Syu --overwrite "*" $(pacman -Qnq) before reboot

Why on earth would you do that? There's a fair chance that this caused the problem, but it's such a blunt approach that there's really no way to even speculate on which of the countless problems that might cause is the one you are facing. That's not even a sledge-hammer approach, that's a nuke.
In any case, we'll need the exact verbatim error message that you are getting.
