I have an ADSL connection, and I use the included daemon to connect and disconnect. I also made a script that configures, via ip-tables, the firewall. I added a line to the /etc/ppp/ip-up file in order to execute it automatically. But today I noticed it is not actually executed. I do not know that else to say...
What I am doing wrong?

I hate to post a "me too" message, but I'm driving myself to crazyness trying to figure out why the ip-up script is not called after the adsl link has been estabilished.
I connect with pppoe-start; then I have to manually reconfigure the default routing (don't know why it doesn't work by itself) with "route del default; route add default ppp0"
I have placed the route commands in the ip-up script, which is NOT called. So I have to manually give the routing commands every time I connect, which is very annoying.
Some help, anybody ? Pretty pretty please ?
