Vim transparency disappeared

Hello. I'm using st with alpha patch and my terminal window used to be transparent when I'm using vim but it's not after last update. Maybe it's not the issue, but I don't know what is. I didn't have "hi Normal ctermbg=NONE" in vimrc because it transparency worked without it. st itself is transparent as it was. I feel like I've broken something but I don't know what...

I've set hi Normal ctermbg=NONE in vimrc and it's transparent now. But I can swear it worked without it.

Re: Vim transparency disappeared

You chose a different colorscheme? Or the colorscheme got updated and changed? Or the terminal was previously no considered a cterm?
What got updated and what's the output of the unaltered ":hi Normal"?
