Abrupt shutdown
I have recently changed the laptop from lenovo thinkpad to MSI GF65 Thin 10UE. Dual booted it.
It abruptly shutdowns in between and the battery is more than 60% many times

With this amount of information nobody will really be able to help you. Sudden shutdowns can have many reasons.
My first guess: Your battery is quite dead and the 60% are actually equal to 0%.
Does the laptop also suddenly shutdown while it is powered?
