Hi everyone.
After the kernel 5.18 update, about some minutes after user login in gdm, network seems to crash. Although it is able to maintain an already established connection. I can't create a new one.
I'm unable to use sudo (even if it works fine for some minutes)
NetworkManager enters in a D state and it blocks other functions (as sudo) and I've to force shutdown my compute.
Seems to uninstall NetworkManager "solve" the issue.
Here my journalctl https://gist.github.com/Xalares/a5a46c6 … 708507e681

Looks to be the same issue as https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=276765

I'll look into that, thanks !

Yep, adding kernel parameter "module_blacklist=ath9k" works like a charm.
I'll try "ath9k.nohwcrypt=1 ath9k.ps_enable=0" to see if it works too, but I'll certainly stay with opt 1.
[UPDATE]
Indeed ath9k.nohwcrypt=1 ath9k.ps_enable=0 doesn't work.
With these options If I try using my wireless adapter to connect to a network, it makes NetworkManager in Uninterruptible Sleep state almost instantly.

Same for me with `Qualcomm Atheros AR9462`
Unfortunately only blacklist of ath9k or downgrade to 5.17 works
