Hello, My boot time takes up to 18 seconds on my SSD, i wanted to know if this is normal time to boot the system

this is the output of systemd-analyze

Startup finished in 14.121s (firmware) + 514ms (loader) + 1.410s (kernel) + 620ms (initrd) + 1.792s (userspace) = 18.458s
graphical.target reached after 1.792s in userspace.

Re: Slow boot

"systemd-analyze critical-chain"

But

Startup finished in 14.121s (firmware) + 514ms (loader) + 1.410s (kernel) + 620ms (initrd) + 1.792s (userspace) = 18.458s

That's the BIOS/UEFI before the boot loader (grub) is even started - it might be probing around for other boot devices, run an extensive self test (eg. RAM) or whatnotelse.
