Hello all,
Like the title suggests. I am on a fresh install of arch linux, however my brightness and volume keys dont work.
Not only that, but my plasma environment does not detect them like normal where i can change and see them in my settings.
I can in fact change the brightness with brightnessctl.
I have drivers for both my igpu and normal gpu.
01:00.0 3D controller: NVIDIA Corporation GA107M [GeForce RTX 3050 Mobile] (rev a1)
Subsystem: Lenovo Device 380e
Kernel driver in use: nvidia

05:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Cezanne (rev c5)
Subsystem: Lenovo Device 3801
Kernel driver in use: amdgputhanks for helping.

my brightness and volume keys dont work
Do they show up in "sudo libinput debug-events"?
Offline
yes, they do.

What's the actual output?
Do the keys then show up in "xev -event keyboard"? (assuming this is plasma on X11)

I fixed the problem. I have been so stupid, i install the "plasma-desktop" version of plasma. this version doesn't come with anything.
So to fix the problem i needed to install "power-devel" and "plasma-pa" then reboot. for plasma to detect and change the volume and brightness.
Thank you Seth for your time.
