[Solved] Bluetooth device not listed as audio device after upgrade

I upgraded pulseaudio and its modules from 15.0.4 to 16.0.1. After upgrading these packages, my Bluetooth headphone is still connecting, but it is not listed as audio device anymore.

Here are my upgraded packages:

Seem like pulse audio doesn't support bluetooth headphones (loud speaker are considered headphones), download and install pipewire-pulse and see if it work.

@sak18ra Thanks for your help, but with pulseaudio 15.0.4 and pulseaudio-modules-bt my bluetooth headphone worked very well.

Beside from that, there is a package named pulseaudio-bluetooth. What should this package be for, if not for bluetooth headphones?

Did you restart pulseaudio after switching to the standard pulseaudio-bluetooth package by rebooting/restarting with

systemctl --user restart pulseaudio

? Bluetooth support should be more or less up to speed with standard pulse/pipewire now, but in any case I'd also suggest you might want to test pipewire's support here, it definitely has the faster pace/more complete implementation in this space.
