Is libgpod 0.3.2-3 broken?

When i try to run: pacman -Syu it downloads some packages and then it says:

checking package integrity...
error: archive libgpod-0.3.2-3.pkg.tar.gz is corrupted

delete it from you cache ( rm /var/cache/pacman/pkg/libgpod-0.3.2-3.pkg.tar.gz ) and issue a -Syu to download the package again.

Re: Is libgpod 0.3.2-3 broken?

This is because a libgpod package that was meant to go in the testing repo ended up in the extra repo. It is fixed now but probably the package is different so when the one in the cache is used, there is a md5sum mismatch. So there is this integrity error.

[root@pinkwater ~]# pacman -Ss libgpod
[root@pinkwater ~]#

This happened last night after I had a similar problem, for the second time.  Now the package seems to have disappeared entirely.

Re: Is libgpod 0.3.2-3 broken?

pacman -Ss libgpod
works here. There might be a problem with your db. Maybe try doing a 'pacman -Sy' to update the db. Or try using another mirror  to update the db.

Re: Is libgpod 0.3.2-3 broken?

It's there now - how strange.  I'd done an -Syu right before that and had removed the "corrupted" package, and noticed that a replacement was not being downloaded.  I have 0.4.0-1 installed already, so I wasn't tripping too badly, but I thought it was odd, nonetheless.

Re: Is libgpod 0.3.2-3 broken?

Actually, 0.4.0 breaks my ipod.  I could add songs to my ipod via amarok, but nothing would play, and when I looked at track info it was all crap (non-english characters, etc).  I downgraded to 0.3.2 and everything is fine again.
