Hey, I've got a multi-touch touchscreen on my laptop which is slightly broken in that it keeps thinking something is hovering over a specific spot on the screen.
Is there a way I can tell my input drivers (libinput) to ignore touches in that specific spot?
I'm guessing I have to recompile libinput drivers with a really specific patch, but I just want to know if there's an easier way to do this before I jump in.
laptop: lenovo yoga 13, i5 version.
I can provide more info about my laptop, if that's at all useful.
touchscreen: not sure, only information I get from lsusb, xinput, etc is that it is ELAN touchscreen, usb id is 04f3:000a
I think this is the website for the company that makes it http://www.emc.com.tw/eng/index.asp but I couldn't find any more info on their site, don't know if that's helpful.
That's as much info as I could find.
software: xf86-input-libinput 0.20.0-1 and libinput 1.5.0-1
Thanks for any help.

I have a similar problem and I want to solve it in the same way.
Have you found a solution?
