Re: Firefox 2.0 into release?

Shadowhand,
Yes ...  network.prefetch-next = false DOES MAKE  a difference! The old 'snappy' feeling is back!
Thank you... much appreciated!!

Re: Firefox 2.0 into release?

Shadowhand, why does firefox not depend on xul-runner anymore?  :?
Previous situation with xul-runner + mozilla-firefox + mozilla-thunderbird + whatever needs gecko was better, IMHO.

firefox never depended on xulrunner. The first version of firefox that will depend on xulrunner will be 3.0.

Hmm... then I missed something... I'm confused. Nevermind.

I know this but for some strange reason thought that Arch already had firefox/thunderbird based on xulrunner.
Maybe I confused xulrunner with mozilla-common... But I'm sure I had it installed for some reason, maybe some other package required it. Oh, how I wish reverse dependency feature somewhere.

pacman -R mozilla-common, see what complains.

This is not what I want. I want a way to know reverse dependencies of not installed packages, like this is done on some distros' sites (frugalware.org, gentoo-portage.com etc.) + the same feature in pacman. Anyway this is offtopic.
