Symptom:
All printers are deactivated. Trying to activate results in de-active status again.
cat /etc/cups/printers.conf |grep -e 'State\|Reason'
State Stopped

Any hint what to do?

That sounds like an issue with authenticating.
Are you authenticating to those printers using kerberos ?
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
(A works at time B) && (time C > time B ) ≠ (A works at time C)

there is no authentication. The Printer was configured via DeviceURI ipps://Kyocera%20ECOSYS%20M6530cdn._ipps._tcp.local/

Reason cups-pki-invalid

My printer is configured with IPP Everywhere. There is no authentication. I guess it has to do with certificate checking in SSL/TLS.

Checking your pacman log for what was updated when it broke might give a hint what might cause this.
