in intel_gpu_top i see 60% load on render\3d when video playing on youtube. and 0% on video. why?
when i play video in vlc, i see about 30% video load on intel_gpu_top.
how to decode video in firefox by a hardware decoder and not use 3d Render\openfl\opencl?

Re: firefox+vaapi

because I have an archive repository connected in which 89. And it is connected because the newer one does not work with wine and there are no drivers for 390 nvidia.
I figured out what's wrong. If you select vaapi drm in vlc, then the same thing happens as in Firefox.
It's disappointing that with updates, support for old hardware is deteriorating.

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
